MMO' are pretty cool. Its a way to waste time so I'm cool with most og them. Except Ultima online. That game sucked. I'd be surprised to know if it is still popular.
Rufus, as to your question as to where RO came from. Most likely it came from Taiwan but I think it came frrom japan.
I played an MMO from swedan, it was confusing. I kept dying anyway cause I couldn't read the level indicator anyway.

Yes, RO is from Korea. I know that 100%. I played RO for a year, and had to deal with korean languages when trying to run a new server of RO my friend made, and downloading it, and all that crap. And I just knew from the website and stuff. It's from Korea.
I used to like MMOs, but now that I barely have internet, now that I have a boyfriend, now that I have to pay more attention to school and my plans after school for my future, all that stuff, I really don't see the point in MMOs. Sorry if I mean any offense to anybody, they are fun, yes, but personally I don't see the point in them now. They're neverending, and have no storyline, unlike console RPGs. *Shrugs.* Just my opinion.

Well, though you are my comrade I say nay to ye opinion.
MMO' are fun, yes, they are never ending but it gives you greater oppurtunity to party up with your fellow newbs and smite many a critters.
Whats the point in playing when somebody thinks like that?
I try to play no guilt games but you really have to think deeply why MMO' where brought upon the world of todays modern era.

I understand, they're fun I agree, but after many months of playing RO, after I got to explore all areas and get to high levels and all that, I wander the game, and think to myself, "Umm... what's left to do?"
Let me say this, though. It's not a bad thing to goof around on if you're doing well in school, and kinda got everything sorted out. Or, if you're like in your early 20s and you're jobless and schoolless. Lmao.

I kinda go with both of you're opinions. See, never ending games get boring. You get high levels, get all the stuff and upgrades, explore everywhere, ect. What's there left for you to do? But games that you beat and then it ends, no more to do, are kind of fun if they are long enough. But once you start the game over and beat the game several times again, that gets boring.
I have a gamecube game called Kirby Airide. There's no beating the game. It's not an RPG, and it's never ending. It's one of those games that you play for a little while, then can stop and save it for another time. Good thing is, there's no levels. Not anything like online never ending games or ending games. It's a game you will play over and over again, with the same stuff and nothing new and blah. It's always different because you race against the 7:00 minutes maximum clock XD! Damn, that game is FUN!

I saw a trailer for Kirby Air ride before it came out. It was weird so I didn't buy it.
