Don't mind some typos...I still have to edit..But this is what I've typed of my story so far. I'm going to publish it by this summer hopefully. ^-^ Chap. 1
The last of the Black Dragon and Black Pegasus
Chapter 1 She looked over her balcony, she loved the thundery weather. Her long midnight black hair, swayed with the soft cool wind that passed by. She was humming a morbid lullaby that her mother always sang to her when she was just a child. She placed her pale white hands upon the railing, her crimson eyes traveled over the dark, gloomy land. Her head turned immediatly to a figure far in the distance, her heart felt as though it were going to jump out of her chest.
A sudden paroxysm of excitment hit her like a bullet. She gasped at the sight of him. She watched him as he peered through the darkness, he was looking up at her. Her heart felt as though it were in her throat. She reached slightly over the balcony, whispering his name, over and over.
"Vincent...Vincent, my love. Come to me...I will serve as a great mistress to you...Teach me the ways of the dragon..." She said, her crimson eyes searching for his eyes. Her breath was caught in her throat, as his gaze met hers. She held his gaze for quite sometime. He smiled up at her, his massive wings were folded up nicely upon his back. She lifted one leg over the railing, then lifted the other. She sat upon the railing, her gaze still keping ahold of his, the red tips of her hair shined within the moon's light.
He continued to walk slowly up towards the castle, his gaze still keeping hers as he approached closer. His great massive claws were clawing into the earth's fresh crust, as he made his way towards her. His mind was telepathic, he connected to her mind: *Are you truely my love? ...I've guarded this castle for centuries and never had seen you before...* As he made his way towards the castle, he began to slowly take form of a human.
She sat there upon the balcony in shock, her crimson eyes were blank, confused and abacked to see him shape-shift into a human. He lifted up off of the ground, as his black-feathered wings spread out widley, and started to flap slowly. Her eyes just stared at him, she didn't know waht to do or what to say. He made his way up to her, as he landed ontop of the railing, his wings dissappeared.
He came up to her, sitting himself down next to her: "Hm...I've felt like I've met you before...but I just don't know how...You look so familiar to me in some ways...yet so mysterious...I presume you are the new ruler here at Druasigon Castle?" He said, with a slight smirk upon his face.
She shook her head slightly, not knowing what ot say. Her hair fell over her shoulders, as she leaned forward upon the railing. Her attention was now toward the ground.
"My mother had abandoned me as a child...No i'm not ready to be ruler of Druasigon Castle yet, I need a ...husband ...first..." She siad, sighing as she continued to look at the wet, moist ground.
He looke at her with concern: "I see...I was just wondering...How come you've called for me on a storymy night like this? ...You have seemed to have called me your love there Amaya..." He said, looking at her eyes. He reachecd his hand over to her face and stroked the side of her cheek.
She blusehd, her attention now turning over to him:
"My lord...I've only called you love because I've fallen in with thee...The first time I set eyes upon you...I just fell in love..." She said, her pale complexion was lighted by the full moon. Her full red lips shined and looked pure of color, like that of a red cherry. Her pure white fangs stuck ou just a bit, the length of them was three inches.
He nodded to her, his eyes were also crimson red but a lot darker than hers. The storm was getting a bit fiercer, the wind was getting stronger almost knocking the plants down from their pots. He wrapped one arm around Amaya, escourting her off the balcony. Once he helped her off the railing, he took her inside.
Her face was bewildered as she was escourted into her chambers. She looked at him, wondering what he was thinking at that very moment. She shook her head slightly, unsure of how to re-act or to resond.
"My lord? ...Why are we inside my chambers? ..." She asked, her eyes scanning her chambers just to see if any intruders were about.
He smiled sheepishly, his eyes followed hers, also scanning the room. He studied the hallway watching some of the creatures pass by.
"Do you have any privacy at all?" He asked, his face had a stern look, like that of a true dragon about to go to war.
Her cheeks flushed, she bowed slightly, and her hair fell to the front of her. She looked up at him, her mouth closed tightly. She opened up her mouth slightly, and then started to speak.
"No my lord...To be honest there is never any privacy...I am always here being kept an eye on just in case anything happens." She looked at the ground, her shoes were hidden beneath her dress. She looked back up at him, noting his stern features his eyes focused upon the hallway straight ahead. She walked over ot her bed, her shoes dragged along the ground. She was tired and confused.
He looked over to Amaya, his attention going to her shoes. He coud hear the screeching noise coming from the bottom of the spikes. He sighed, shaking his head slightly; continiuing to watch her shoes slag along the floor.
"You tired, Amaya?" He asked, he seemed to have a concerned look upon his face, like a worried dragon would.
She shook her head slightly, then nodded to his question, while plopping herself down onto the bed. She closed her eyes slightly, drifting off to sleep. The weather was deadly outside, a hurricane was coming.
He looked at her, he could hear the fierce winds blowing outside of the castle walls. He has never been with in the castle walls before for this long. Last time he remembered he was in for this long was but a few years ago, when he was counseling with the princes. He noticed the details in her room, very unique and exquisite. Looking down at Amaya, he notice that she was falling asleep very quickly: "Sweet dreams..."
She fell asleep within an instant; her hair was below her shoulders. She had taken off her shoes before going to sleep. Her dress covered most of the bed. The moon light came through to her room from her balcony. Her room was completely covered in black and red curtains from corner to corner. She looked like an angel as she slept, just one from the underworld. Her features were unqiue; she had the features of her mother. She hadn't known who her father was, but from the stories she heard, she had lived with him for a few years. Sadly, she was forced to move out, leaving her with her sick mother.
Vincent decided to take a walk through the castle, his long black trench coat that he wore was just about two inches from the ground. His dragon-like eyes he had in his human form, scanned the area. As he walked through the halls of the castle, he noticed the pictures on the walls of the warriors that had once fought for the freedom of the vampires. He could hear whispers and gossip going around from vampires, mostly random things of how they caught their victims and such.
A vampire looked at him as though he was from another world. He walked up to the vampire, his eyes seemed to glow from the shadow that the light from the candles casted upon the castle walls. He grinned slightly, making his fangs stick out from within his mouth. He smirked when the vampire backed up a few steps. He slowly watched as the vampire was beginning to back up into a wall.
"Do you even know who I am Borias? Hmhm, you don't ever remember anyone every time I see you around here, you are a very forgetful vampire." He said, shaking his head. He laughed lowly, his voice sounded like a roar, as if he were in his dragon form laughing. His jet black wings were folded up nicely upon his back. He cracked his neck swiftly, without making any sign of pain. He smirked slightly, staring directly into the vampire's eyes.
"My lord...S...So nice to see you. I thought you were to stay outside the castle walls." He said, looking at the ground. The chest armor he wore was made of snake scales, the indulgence this vampire had for battle was very strict at times. He was frightened when he felt Vincent's stare. It sent a shiver down his spine just thinking about it.
He laughed at Borias. His eyes studying the vampires face. He then smiled sheepishly, shaking his head. He had put his hands in his pockets; his long long slender nails would freak the vampire out even more. He wasn't going to make that mistake.
"Suck a lovely greeting, and I thought that you were such a gentleman. Well then, I have a question to ask you." He said, with a slight smirk upon his face. He noticed the vampire was shaking vigorously, but wasn't sure why. He relaxed a bit, giving away the smirk upon his face.
"What is your question my lord?" He asked him, trying not to show him any fear what-so-ever. Even though he was scared to death, he was about ready to faint. The pale gestured look upon his face could tell anyone that he was scared out of his own wits.
Vincent smirked slightly, "Ah...So how has my sweet mistress been latley? She seems to have been tired, so she's sleeping soundly in her chambers..." He said, slightly tilting his head to the side. This time he had a curious look upon his face, he seemed to be worried a bit.
Borias looked down to the ground, biting on his lower lip. He was terrified to tell Vincent on what had really happened to Amaya. He turned his full attention to his feet. He could feel his hands shaking vigorously as he stood there, not saying a word. He didn't know what to do at this very moment; he wasn't expecting this sort of question to come from Vincent.
Vincent looked at Borias with a very cold stare, he had an angry look in his dragon-like eyes. His smirk turned to a frown, when he had no response from the vampire. He stared the vampire down, and then eased up a bit. He was trying his hardest not to frighten the vampire away. He sighed, cracking his knuckles. He was going to get an answer from the vampire somehow.
"Well Borias? You don't want me to get angry now do you?" He said sternly, looking down at the hopeless vampire. He was getting agitated very easily. He gritted his teeth, as he tried to be as nice as possible to the vampire that stood in front of him. *Pathetic...And to think he was a guard here in this castle? Hah! That's a laugh.* He thought, smiling evily a mere second or two, then frowned once again.
Borias stood there, his whole body was now shaking, a lot more violently. He cleared his throat once more. "My lord...Erm, Vincent...Well, you see...Amaya was hurt..."
Vincent cut him off, "She was hurt!? What do you mean she was hurt!?" He said, filled with rage. He picked Borias up off of his feet; he was ready to hurt the vampire brutally. "What happened to her? Who hurt her!?" He yelled, his eyes now filled with fire.
Borias gulped, "She was hurt by our enemy...The vampire hunter; he wants her to be dead..." He shook his head helplessly, afraid of what the dragon might do to him. His whole body froze, waiting...Waiting to see what the dragon might do to him.
Vincent dropped Borias then ran back to Amaya's chambers. He then shook his head, relieved to find her sleeping soundly upon her bed. He smiled as he made his way to her. "Ah, sleeping soundly..." He loved the way she slept; her unique beauty reminded him of a pegasus. The ones he had seen everyday at the waterfall.
He sat down beside her upon her bed, as he laid his head back against the head board of the bed. He sighed, looking up at the ceiling; as he began to drift off to sleep. He smiled softly, as a dream began to sweep him away to slumber. He was not going to let anything happen to Amaya. For she was to be his wife, he just has to have the time to get to know her better, before asking anything at all.

Chapter 2
Vincent awoke the next morning, as he stretched out his body. He cracked his neck, then his knuckles. As he got up from the bed, he was a backed to see that Amaya was up and about, cleaning things up. He smiled, as he made his way up to Amaya. He put a hand on her shoulder, as he greeted her a hello, by a slight bow.
"How is my mistress doing today?..." He could easily tell that she was not feeling well. He searched for her eyes, and then he took her hand in his. He was shocked to find out that she was as cold as a new snow flake that had just touched the ground of the earth.
Amaya looked over at him, she felt his warm hand upon hers. She sighed, for she wasn't really feeling that well. Today was the day she had to go through training, then in a few months; she'd have to take over Druasigon Castle. She limped a bit here and there; her legs bothered her a lot every time she walked. Within a matter of hours though, she'd be in perfect condition once again.
"I am Doing alright my lord...I shall feel a new again within just a few hours..." She said, her eyes looking at the ground. She blew out a sigh, her hands were shaking. She was hurt badly yesterday by the vampire hunter; she knew of his name but dared not to speak of it.
He nodded in response: "Is this vampire hunter I've heard of, who I think it tis?" He asked her, knowing that it was probably who he thought it was. He flexed his fingers a bit, hearing them crack. His breathing was heavy, yet he took gentle breaths here and there to slow down his breathing a little.
She hesitated a bit, biting on her lower lip. She knew he would ask such a question; she had to respond to it. "Yes...My lord...It its' Clive..." She fell silent, afraid of being heard to say such a name. Her eyes traveled to the bed, trying to keep her mind off of things.
Vincent sighed; he knew it would be him. "Clive...I knew he would be up to no good...Does he know you are to become the heir of Druasigon Castle?" He asked. He was concerned about Amaya's safety, and was going to make sure that no one was going to hurt her. Not even Clive.
She shook her head. "I don't know my lord...I seriously don't know...Maybe he does and has caught up with the news..." She said. She could see that he was concerned and angry by the look in his eyes. Her full attention was now towards him. She blew out a sigh, her face was very pale.
He smirked. "Ah...I see...Amaya...I will be looking after you for awhile...I'm very concerned for your safety...I will stay here for you as long it would take to rid of Clive..." He said in a soft tone. He didn't want to force anything upon her but he was going to make sure that she was safe. He looked at the hallway, making sure no one was being nosy. When he was satisfied enoguh that no one was around, he looked back at Amaya, waiting for a response from her.
She shook her head again vigorously, not agreeing to what he said. "My lord, you no need to stay and watch over me...That is what my second hand guard Burozigor is for...As you've noticed, he guards my chambers day and night, only leaving to get food or something." She said, frowning slightly. "And you my lord need to protect the castle...In case of intruders."
He grew a little bit sterner wth her suggestinon, but did not show it. "My mistress...You've asked me to come to you and here I am...I come to find out that Clive hurt you, and now you expect me to leave!? Do you know how much that hurts me? You've called me your love and now turning away from me?" He grew a bit sad from what she had said. "But if you wish...I will not force anything upon you Amaya...I am concerned for your safety and I choose to stay and watch over you. To hell with the castle! It can burn down for all I care, your safety is more important than this horrible place!"
She fell to her knees. "Vincent...I'm sorry...I wish not to anger you any further...Please forgive me my lord..." She was frightened and scared of him, not wanting to anger him any more. She fought back tears, trying her best not to show her grief. Her hair covered her face, making it hard to see it.
He sighed; his features had softened up a lot. He knelt down beside her, slowly taking her into his arms. He was still concerned about her, and wished he hadn't talked to her so sternly. "Amaya...It's okay...I had no need to talk to you so sternly...Just it tore me apart for what you've said..." He gave her a tight hug, then immediately got back up onto his feet once he heard someone coming towards Amaya's chambers.
Amaya stood up, she could also hear the faint foot steps coming towards her chambers. She paused for a minute, and then sighed. "It's Drugar...The second eldest of the three princes...he's coming for me...Today I must go in for training to become heir to the throne now..." She shook her head slowly, for she was not ready to be heir of the throne.
He stood there in shock. "Today but...It tis' too soon! You're hurt...Don't they know that!?" He was a bit frustrated and concerned now more than he had ever been before. He sat himself down upon Amaya's bed, putting his fore finger to his temple. He thought for a moment or two then shook his head slightly.
"My lord...No, they don't know...You must remember I am a vampire...Even if I'm not ready to take heir of the throne...I will heal in a few mid-day hours...Vampires heal very quickly my lord...It's said that it takes Dragons quite awhile to heal...Or is this false? ..." She asked him. She was quite sad and worried about him at this point. She was a little bit frightened that he might leave now and never come back. Of course she loved him, but she felt like her life was being controlled by him. Maybe though, just maybe, he is just looking out for her. He could love her back.
He looked up at her, his features softened a lot. He sighed heavily: "Aye...Amaya, it does take awhile for Dragons to heal...But you must understand, I am the last of them on the land...The others have passed on greatly over the years...I care for you deeply my mistress...Please accept my apologies...I have been too over controlling to a gentle creature such as you..." He said, his eyes searched for her, he didn't know what else to say to her.
She heard Drugar come closer to her chambers, she sat down beside Vincent, her eyes now staring directly into his. She put a hand upon his cheek: "Vincent...As I said before...I fell in love with thee...And I meant it...I accept thy apologies my dragon...Sometimes harsh words stab my heart like a sword...My life was very difficult as I was growing up...My mother and father died...I was forced to live on my own as a child...I fed on scraps of food that was left on the ground...Aye...My life was so very hard...I was on the verge of death...But Drugar had saved me...He's about one-thousand years younger than me...As in soul..." She stopped talking; she could tell he was worried for her. She gave him a hug, and then laid her head down upon his shoulder.
He could see Drugar coming towards Amaya's chambers. He wrapped his arms around her: "I'm very sorry to hear that Amaya...I shall be along your side while you train...Mind you...My great-great grandfather built this castle...And what I say to the princes goes...or there will be some trouble..." He snarled. He lightened up a bit when he had seen Drugar standing in the hallway.
Drugar smiled slightly at the two, he planned on having Amaya trained, and then he was to marry her. He leaned up against one of the curtains hanging from the ceiling. He forced a smile. "Hello my lord...Amaya...I have come for her to bring her to training...Come Amaya...The others await us..." He said. He wasn't going to let anyone come between him and Amaya, even though he knew that Amaya did not love him anyway. He would put a love spell upon her, so this way she would see through his eyes.
Vincent shook his head: "I shall escort Amaya to the training grounds, and I know what you're thinking Drugar...You're a mere mortal compared to the likes of me...She will not follow in your treacherous foot steps and become your wife!" He got off of the bed, his face showed no emotion to Drugar. His eyes were darker than normal. He planned on shape-shifting back into his dragon form, but decided not to. Heed my words Drugar...You lay one hand on her and I will come after you..." He said sternly, yet he was very calm and just stayed where he was. Not one muscle flinched.
Drugar was a backed to know now that Vincent cared for Amaya that much: "I'm sorry my lord...The eldest always knows best..."
Amaya shook her head: "Drugar!? You actually thought I would marry you? That's absurd! That is such an insult! How dare you!" She yelled. She lifted herself of off her bed, and then walked over to the balcony. The winds were blowing fiercely outside. She could feel small drops of rain fall upon her face, for the balcony doors were wide open and the rain came sprinkling into her chambers every now and then. Her complexion was very pale as usual. She sighed, she wanted to fly and go away from this cell hole that she lived in; but she did not want to spill her secrets to anyone just yet. Her mother had passed down a wonderful gift to her, yet she promised never to tell the truth to anyone until the war had come.
Vincent heaved out a deep sigh. He was exhausted and tired from all the years of non-sleepness hours, looking after the castle and guarding it with his very life. He looked over at Amaya; he could tell easily that she wanted to get away from the castle very badly. He yearned to free her from her troubles, and he there for her when in need. He turned his full attention to Drugar; whom seemed still quite shocked about what had just been said to him. He smirked slightly, his wings were invisible to the vampire eye, yet somehow he knew Amaya could see them clearly. He shook his head slightly at the thought; she was hiding something that was special about her. He wanted to get some things at least out of her. He barely knew anything about her, except for those times that they've bumped into each other before. He stood there, his muscles were very relaxed and he remained in a very calm mood. He smirked evily at Drugar, then sat back down upon the bed.
Drugar looked at the ground: "My lord...Amaya must come now...We've spent too much time chatting and letting silence pass the time away...It tis' our ways my lord...To go to the training ground on time..." He said. He had a slight smirk on his face. He sat down upon the ground, waiting upon a response from Vincent.
Vincent shot a glare at Drugar, "You know Drugar...I had respect for you before...Since you are the second eldest of the princes...But now I see you as a mere insect that I am about to squash by my boot. You are a pathetic being to me...You do remember that my great-great grandfather had built this jail cell don't you?" He asked. He had a cruel smile upon his face, his wings were now visible to a regular vampire's eyes, "Mind you...You maybe have strong powers...But I can squash you like the puny insect that you are..." He laughed. He knew about Drugar's so called 'immortal' powers, and that made his character and personality even more easy to understand.
Drugar shook his head: "M...My lord...hmhm...but...b...but it tis' so pitiful of you to call me an insect! HA! That is such a laugh Vincent Locke! Hmhmhm...You think I am afraid of you? Hm? Well? Do you?" He laughed. He hardly knew of this Dragon's power, but what harm could he do?
Vincent growled, " Don't you dare say my full name ever again! Or I will kill you! Mock my words Drugar Baltizerar II, I shall and will kill you if you even think you can take complete control of the throne! I will kill you with my own bare claws and make sure that it will be a nice, slow painful death that you'll never forget!" He yelled. His voice roared throught the castle walls. Everything fell silent at that very moment. He calmed down a lot, then flexed his muscles. He looked over at where Amaya should be, but he didn't see here there. He grew worried, " Amaya!? Amaya!? My Mistress? Where are you?" He ran out to the balcony. There was no one in sight. He turned around and-
Amaya appeared right behind him, "You called for me my lord? ..." She asked him. She tried not to laugh by the expression he had shown on his face. She wrapped her arms around him, "I was feeding the pet that I have..." She smiled, then frowned when she saw Drugar. She could feel Vincent's arms wrap around her. She closed her eyes for a moment or two then leaned her head upon his shoulder, "Are you alright my lord?" She asked him. She was feeling a bit concerned about him now.
Vincent shook his head, still a backed from Amaya just appearing behind him, "Amaya...You scared me...I thought you had dissapeared...Oh and by the way, I am not going to let Drugar marry such a delicate creature such as you..." He sighed slightly. He looked over to where the balcony was, he was breathing slowly. He turned his attention to his home that set along the horizon. This was the first time in a long time that he had shape-shifted into his human shaped figure. The mountains were his home, he had lived there most of his life. When he was born, his father had passed on that day. He had lived with the Pegasus, yet he remembered one that he had fallen in love with during his late teenage years. He moved to the mountains when he had became very mature, and swore he'd follow his father's foot steps and protect the castle. He turned his attention back to Amaya, she reminded him so much of the Pegasus he had first set eyes upon.
Amaya looked up into Vincent's eyes. She could tell he was thinking, probably worried for her. She sighed, for he hasn't spoken to her these past few minutes. The day was passing by quickly, it was already dusk. She looked out into the wilderness, the wind was coming in through the balcony. She sighed softly, she had grown up with Vincent. Yet, she knew that he did not know about her shape-shifting powers she wanted to tell him so badly but she couldn't reveal her secrets just yet. She remembered growing up in the forest which she had been born in as a foal. She remembered Vincent during her childhood. When her mother passed away, she was forced to grow up on her own. She sighed, leaning her head back upon his shoulder.
Drugar lended out his hand towards Amaya: "Come my mistress...Please, the princes await us..." He smiled crookedly. He was a bit pissed off at Vincent for trying to steal Amaya away from him. He gritted his teeth, grinding them back and forth slowly. He maybe was weaker than Vincent, but he was a strong soul. Surely he could beat him in a one-on-one battle, if things could go worse for him that is.
Vincent gave Drugar an evil glare. He was about ready to kill him right then and there, but decided to give him a second chance. He backed up a bit from Amaya at arms length, "Amaya? Would you mind if I guided you to the training grounds?" He asked. He smiled down at her, he could see her eyes sparkle with delight. He kissed her upon her forehead, then gave her a tight hug, "Well my mistress?" He was glad that she loved him at least a little bit. He put his forefinger beneath her chin, making her look at him.
She looked up into his eyes, her face was a bit red. She gulped, "M...My lord...Um...Well...Ehe...You have my permission...Erm...My...L...lord...I...-" She couldn't finish what she wanted to say in the first place. Her heart was beating so fast, she felt like she was going to faint. She put her hand over her mouth, she was afraid to say anything else.
Vincent smirked, "Aye Amaya, you truely do remind me of my first love...Come, the princes await us..." He took her hand in his, then kissed the top of it. He began to escort her out into the main halls. He wrapped his left arm around her waist as he took her to the training grounds, "Listen Amaya...I will be at your side the whole time...I will be watching out for your safety..." He said. He was smiling brightly when he had heard her gasp accidently. To him it seemed that Amaya's spirit had reminded him so much of that of a Pegasus, Free, and trapped...Trapped in these castle walls...He yearned to take her outside, but not just yet.
Drugar followed close behind, he was angered with jealousy. He stopped in his tracks, he couldn't take this non-sense for much longer: "Vincent...look, she will be mine sooner or later. Whether you like it or not it is up to you. I will make her my wife! She will be mine!" He laughed evily, then ran up to Amaya. He wrapped his right arm around her, then snatched her away from Vincent, "She will become my wife Vincent...And she will bear my children! Hmhm..." He laughed evily once more, his laugh carried on through the castle walls. He looked up at Vincent, he could see the Dragon's rage within his face. He smirked: "That's it my lord become mad...And jealous...It tis' my duty to piss you off so much...I'm invincible Vincent..." He said, his eyes were gleaming with delight.
Vincent grabbed the mere Vampire by the neck: "No one is invincible Drugar! NO ONE!" He yelled, his voice roared through the castle. His Great-Great Grandfather made this castle big enough for a dragon to fit in the main halls. He slowly transformed into a dragon. His massive wings strecthed out, he roared loudly. The whole castle shook, all the Vampires and Vampiresses screamed in terror. He snorted, his eyes filled with anger: *Get away from her!* He said to Drugar telepathically. His claws were beggining to dig into the castle's hardfloor.
Drugar looked up at the massive dragon, releasing Amaya at the same time. He could feel his heart beating fast. He was frightened and scared, not knowing what to do now. He quickly ran towards his left direction, hoping Vincent would spare his life at this point. He had no idea of Vincent's true powers, and now he has only witnessed only a half of a quarter of what this dragon was capable of.
Vincent decided to let him be for now, then he looked down at Amaya. He noticed she was hidden behind a pillar. *Amaya...Come out...It tis' alright now...I am sorry for scaring you...Please...Come out...* He shape-shifted back into a human: "Amaya...Please..." He reached out his hand toward her, he could see her eyes glowing with fear in them. He sighed, shaking his head slightly. He kept his hand out toward Amaya, he was worried about her.
Amaya crept up against the wall behind her, she was scared. She hadn't seen him so angry before. She shook her head slolwy: "You...Won't hurt me...Would you?" She asked him, her voice was a bit raspy. She clenched her waist with her right hand, she closed her eyes tightly. She felt like she was going to pass out. She was dizzy and her waist was bleeding a lot. She was about ready to faint. She fell to her knees, yelling out in pain. SHe heaved out a long sigh, clenching her waist, still in pain.
Vincent ran over to Amaya, he picked her up. He then got up and brought her over to her chambers. He immediatly put her onto her bed. He sat down by her side: "Amaya? What's wrong? Amaya...Please...Speak to me...What's wrong? Is your wound open?" He asked her. He shook his head vigorously. His eyes were a bit glossy. He folded his wings neatly upon his back. He held Amaya within his arms, his back was leaning up against the head board of the bed. He kissed her forehead gently, looking down at her face.
She looked up at him: "Vincent...The would that the Vampire hunter gave me...It's not heling at all my lord..." She said painfully. She cuddled up softly against him, closing her eyes once more. She breathed heavily, her wound had stopped bleeding for now. Her face complexion was more pale than normal, her body had lost so much blood since yesterday that she had become exausted and needed sleep.
He looked down at her, shaking his head slightly. He smiled down at her, then frowned when he had seen the blood on her hands. He sighed: "Sleep well Amaya..." He said. He slid his fingers through her hair, leaning his back up against the head board of the bed, slowy drifting away to sleep. He let his dreams take him away beyond imagination. He worried for Amaya, and was determined to find out on how she had gotten hurt by this Vampire hunter. Tommorow awaited a new day for him, till then he will let his slumber take him away to yet another peacful dream.

Chap. 3-The day before yesterday~ The Vampire Hunter hurts Amaya
Amaya went outside the castle for a quick breather, she loved thed way the sun set, just beyond the horizon. Her hair swayed with the gentle breeze that passed by, her senses told her that a storm was coming. She could smell the fresh rain that was going to fall upon the earth's crust. She sighed at the sight of the clouds forming together. She could hear the roaring of thunder come from the skies. The black, smokey clouds began to cover the red full moon. The winds were getting stronger, causing the branches on the trees to move a bit. The dead leaves started to fall towards the ground. Spring had just begun, new leaves were growing.
She heard something in the bushes, then began to sniff around to see if she knew the person that was near by. She could smell the scent of fresh blood upon a sword, the sword of the slayer. She looked around her surroundings cautiously. She could feel that someone was close by. She shook her head slightly, the air smelled of fresh blood. She still felt the presence of someone, she hoped she wasn't in trouble. She peeered through the darkness, she could just see trees, vines, and bushes. She started to walk cautiously along the walk way leading from the castle. Her senses grew weary as she continued along the walk way.
The Vampire Hunter Clive looked at the Vampire Mistress. He had heard of the news coming from the castle, it soon became a huge rumor through out the land, that this Mistress was to be heir of the throne in a matter of months. His senses were not as strong as a Vampires. He smiled slightly, his attention slowly traveling off to the sky. He couldn't smell the Vampire blood on his sword that he had last slained. He held his breath for a few seconds, then blew the air out of his lungs. He shook his head slightly, looking back at the Mistress.
He readied himself, getting into a stance to attack. He lifted up his sword just a few inches above his head, then stepped out of the bushes, following close behind her. He swiftly began to swing his sword at her, striking her side. He then quickly vanished into the bushes, afraid of being seen. He made his way through the wilderness, the wolf's cry out in pain frightened him. He had hurt such a beautiful Vampire Mistress, but he had no choice. It was his destiny to kill all that become heir to the throne, including the princes of Druasigon castle.
First thing she felt was the sword hitting the side of her hip. She screamed out in pain, wondering if this was it for her. She looked up at the sky, she could feel the first rain drops starting to fall. The wound she had stung really badly. She felt like she was going to die. Her blood came out of her wound very quickly, so quickly that she was about to faint.
Her cry could be heard through out the land. Her voice sounded like a crying wolf. She could still hear the echoing of her voice reaching far out to the mountains. She fell to her knees, clenching her hip tightly with her right hand. She looked up at the dark sky, the clouds that covered the moon had red highlights on them, for the moon tonight was a bloody red. Tears began to fall freely down her face, rolling over her cheeks; and leaving watery trails behind them. She made another cry out in pain, the blood was now forming a puddle upon the ground. She heard the roaring of a dragon far in the distance, her ears rang with the roaring from the dragon. A pair of black-feathered wings came out of her back, then dissappeared just as quickly. She cried out in pain once more, hearing the Vampire princes now coming to her aid. She fainted before they even got to her.
The princes ran out of the castle. The second eldest one, Drugar, picked up Amaya then brought her into the castle. One of the Vampires that was carrying a first aid kit, immediatly tended to Amaya. He gave her a potion in order for her wounds to heal quicker. Afterwards, Drugar picked up Amaya once more then brought her over to her chamgers. He placed her upon the bed, then kissed her on the forehead.
"Sleep well...For I shall return once you training sessions are scheduled..." He said. He bent over to try and kiss her on the lips, then backed off. He smirked slightly. "I shall save my kisses for you, once we are engaged..." He said. With that, he turned around then walked out of her chambers.
A few hours later...
Amaya awoke when she heard the roaring of a dragon. She got up immediatly, then rushed over to the balcony. It was still raining out and the weather was very moist. She clenced her waist with her right hand, wincing a bit here and there from the fresh wound she had received from Clive. She looked out at the mountains, there she knew was the home of the castle's protector. She sighed, for she had grown some feelings for this creature; yet his name rang in her mind over and over again.
"Vincent...Vincent...Why? Why is your name appearing in my mind so many times? What is it that I must do in order to stop this? The wind, rivers, trees, and lakes seem like they are calling me...Telling me to come home and full fill my dreams...But what am I to these forests and mountains? Why am I being called out back to the wilderness?" She asked out loud. She wanted to know so badly on why things were starting to happen to her now. She could feel the wind calling out to her, the waters trying to get her to come home. She shook her head slightly, confused and frustrated on things. Now that she had begun her adult years over more than one-hundred years ago, her old soul was being called back home.
The prince Galazer came to Amaya's chambers. He had sensed her awaken, and wanted to check in on things. He stopped at the entrance, then knocked lightly at the wall. He cleared his throat. "Amaya? Are you alright my Mistress? Do you need anything?" He asked. He was afraid that he had disturbed her.
"Come in Galazer, and no...I don't need anything, my waist hurts a bit, but I shall be fine..." She said. Her gaze was still peering out towards the mountains. She sighed once more, she was expecting company. Her midnight black hair swayed with the wind. The leaves that had flown in onto the balcony, now were making little swirls along the ground. She could see lightning flash across the sky. The clouds thundered and roared as the storm continued to come in towards the castle. She smelt the fresh rain in the air, the first few days of spring were filled with rainy weather. Galazer came in quickly. "Are you sure that you don't need anything my Mistress?" He asked her. He could tell that something was on her mind, but he dared not to ask. He looked around his surroundings, the look of her chambers sent a shiver up his spine. Over where her dresser was, he could see a picture of a bloody war that had happened long ago. He gasped when he saw the only one standing, for he recognized the figure in the picture. It was her, it was Amaya! He backed up a bit, for he now knew that she was of old age at the soul, but in appearance, she looked to be in her early twenties.
She looked over at Galazer, then blinked twice. She noticed he had seen the picture of her last battle, then a smirk appeared upon her face. "No, I don't need anything at all Galazer...Hmhm, I see you've seen my picture of my final battle...You know, that was sometime ago...The creatures from the dead forests had declared a war upon the creatures of the living enchanted forests. That day all hell broke loose...Blood had been scattered every where...I was the last to survive...I will never forget that day...It happened on these very grounds more than three-hundred years ago...Your grandfather was a witness to that battle...But sadly died five years later...The date was only 1274 A.D. So you'd imagine people started to believe in this 'god' that they have now-a-days...Aye...Those days were harsh...My soul maybe old...But my body ages every three-hundred years or so..." She said. She remembers all too greatly on what happened that day. She had spent most of her childhood here at the castle, but she remembers the battles that she went through just to save this castle. She does recall one creature that she had grown up with during her childhood, and that was the dragon. She hardly knew him, but she remembered him standing by her side in battles. Once he had saved her life from a couple of tiger-liz creatures. They were a mixture between a tiger and a lizard.
Galazer stood there, abacked to hear of such a battle, then he remembered Vincent. "But...How come Lord Vincent Locke wa not able to attend these battles?" He asked. He knew that the fierce dragon was the eldest of all creatures living on this very land. He wondered why Vincent would never hlep the eldest Mistress Amaya.
"Ah, but he did...Infact in every battle that I took part in, he had helped me with...He was there all the time for my needs as I was growing up...But I hardly knew him...For he was my mysterious protector..." She said softly. She said it so lowly, it was as if she were speaking to herself.
Galazer nodded then bowed slight to her. "My Mistress...I bid you farewells until next time...For another council meeting is schedueled and I must attend...." He said. He then walked off out into the main halls. He made his way to the council hall, where the meeting was taking place. The princes were awaiting for his arrival by the time he had got there.
Drugar was still concerened about Amaya, he looked at Galazer right when he first approached the doorway. "Any news on Amaya, Galazer?" He asked. He was a bit filled with rage, once he had heard that the Vampire Hunter Clive was about. His first thoughts about this was very frustrating, and at the same time confusing. He blew out a sigh, awaiting for an answer from the Vampire.
Galazer shook his head sligthly. "Aye...Amaya is doing a little bit better Drugar." He said. He bowed slightly to the others in the room shortly after he had said that. He seated himself down beside Drugar. He was very rare friends with Drugar. For years he's known Drugar, but he had no idea that Amaya was the eldest living in the castle. He had long white hair from old age, for he has lived for about seven-hundred years.
Drugar nodded in response. "Good...Even if I am the second eldest of the princes...Amaya's age is still unknown to us...This council meeting is for her being heir to the throne, even Lord Vincent would be proud of her. Who here disagrees upon Amaya being heir to the throne?" He asked. He awaited for a show of hands, or even disgusted looks. To his surprise, not one of the princes dissagreed upon the heir of the throne. "Alright, it's settled. Amaya shall go to the training sometime tommorow or the day after that." He said. He took out a feather, then dipped it into some ink. He began to write down a document, then got up and placed this document with the other documents based on the other heirs of the throne over the years. He then sat back down, and folded his hands neatly upon the table. He could tell that Galazer was not pleased but he dared not to ask. His attention wandered over to Zigor, a very wise Vampire indeed. He sighed, then looked back at Galazer.
Galazer shook his head. "I do have a strong say in this Drugar...I am proposing for Lord Vincent to help take the throne, it's for her own good...Face it Drugar, Vincent is the eldest on this land...Amaya is second, closely following up behind him. No matter how much you do 'love' her so say...I can't allow you to take heir of the throne along with her...You are very weak in experience, and if I may add...You Drugar are not the wisest of them all...You have no say on who is to heir the throne, along with Amaya. Let me end this meeting with a warning to you Drugar...Amaya will not be a fiance to you, a wife or any other thing you could think of...If you are killed for your stupidity...Then you have been warned...You even try and get Amaya to fall in love with you...I myself shall have your head...End of discussion." He said sternly. He knew of Drugar's feelings towards Amaya, and was not going to let Drugar even touch Amaya in any way. He could feel the surprised stares around him, then he just shrugged off the erie feeling that they gave him. He could hear whispers around him, so with that, he got up from where he was sitting then gave the others a slight bow. He lastly bid them a good bye, and then walked out of the room.
Drugar sat there, abacked to hear such words coming from an elder. He shook his head slightly, then noticed everyone was staring at him. "Will you stop staring at me! You remind me of blind bats!" He yelled. He sighed, then arose form his chair. He quickly looked around his surroundings, then stormed out of the room. He could not believe that Galazer had humiliated him infront of the whole council.
Amaya still stood at the balcony, she had been there for quite sometime. She kept hearing the roaring of the massive dragon, yet she could not see him. Her fangs stuck out of her mouth a bit. She looked out into the wilderness continuously. Her eyes eyes kept searching for him, awaiting for him to appear. Then, she heard the cry of a raging roar, it kept coming closer and closer. She could see a figure out in the horizon.
The storm was getting worse as the minutes past by. The music that seemed to be swept from the clouds, rang in her ears. It was a crying melody. Everything about her surroundings went on whispering a morbid lullaby, one her mother taught her long ago. She could see far out into the distance still, the rain made the land below quite foggy. Lightning flashed across the red skies, as the storm continued. The black, misty clouds became more thick by the minute. She continued to look at this mighty dragon. Each step this massive creature took, sent a shiver up her spine. She reached out toward him, then pulled away. Her heart pounding with excitement. She called out his name, wondering if he could hear her calls. Her eyes were trying their very best to peer through the darkness. She heard him roar softly, then snort, as if he were trying to call her name. She could feel his heart beat as if he were there next to her. She continued to look at him, seeing his figure a bit far away from the castle still- - -

Chap. 4 (Back to present day) Secrets Revealed
She awoke the very next afternoon, sweat dripped down from her forehead; for she had a nightmare of what had happenedto her. She looked around her then panied when she didn't see Vincent. She called out his name a few times, then she saw his trench coat upon her chair. She immediatly got up from her bed, and then ran quickly over to her dresser. She took out her second best gown, then put it on. She reached behind her to grab the lace piece so she could tie up the back piece of the corset. Afterwards, she grabbed her cloak, did her hair, and then put her shoes on. She took off into the main halls, then began her search. She heard a scream come from one of the back hallways, so she started to run toward the direction from which the scream came from. She started to worry when she had seen Vampires and Vampiresses running towards the general hall where Vampires first came in from their long journeys. she followed the crowd, pushing her way through.

One she reached her way through to the front of the crow. She lost all color from her face, for what she saw was very heart pounding. Vincent and Drugar were fighting. She clenched her waist, slightly shaking her head. She noticed that Vincent was holding back most of his strength. She wanted to yell, no wait---Scream! Alas though...She couldn't... For she knew that Vincent was on self defense, and her instincts told her that she also knew about the high standard rules for the castle; and one major rule was to never ever come against a dragon's path. She watched as Drugar gave his best shots at Vincent, but he just dodged all of the vampire's attacks. She couldn't stand battles, even mere ones like this...
She ran out of the crowd, then got in between the two. She yelled for them to stop, they wouldn't listen, "Vincent, Drugar! Stop this madness! NOW! I can't take this no more..." She then looked over at Drugar, "Alright Drugar...Heed my words very greatly as your last and final warning...My lord Vincent can take you out so quickly...Not a sound would come out of your very mouth...Therefore, I being heir to the throne...Give thy lord Vincent permission to kill however he wants too...For I do not want to marry you Drugar..." She then looked at Vincent, "For my heart belongs to...Lord...Vincent...And I shall not have you come in between us..." She said nervously at first, then became serious. She winced in pain a bit from her wound on her wiast. She fell to her knees, in shock of what pain she felt.
